Thanks to everyone who submitted images. (For those of you whose images did not make it into this quiz, never fear. We'll post the next User-Created Invisibles soon.)
We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #102.
11/19: Contest #14: Trick or Treat is officially closed (finally!). We received a record 3,000+ entries for this one and The Boyz will be sorting through the rubble over the next couple of days to find our winner. We've also started on our next contestual creation, so stay tuned, it should be up in the next couple of weeks.
11/18: Invisibles #102 is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #101.
11/11: Invisibles #101 is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #100: The Centennial Issue.
11/5:
  Scene It? - The DVD
Movie Game Puts
FilmWise in a Box!
That's right! Now you can enjoy the pleasure of FilmWise in a board game! Screenlife, LLC has created Scene It? - The DVD Movie Game and they hired The Boyz at FilmWise to create a bunch of the visual content (including Invisibles, rebus puzzles and much more).

It's available now, just in time for the holidays! Check out the details...

11/4: Invisibles #100: The Centennial Issue! is up and active. That's right, we've already hit the century mark, and we've thrown in a little bonus to celebrate. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #99: Sci-Fi Revisited.
11/4: Due to the server problems we had in October, The Boyz have extended the deadline for Contest #14: Trick or Treat til November 15th. Be sure to take advantage of the extension and get your submission in for a chance to win a free DVD of your choosing.
10/28: Invisibles #99: Sci-Fi Revisited is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #98.
10/22: We're back! Finally! After all the crap we've gone through over the past couple of weeks, FilmWise is back at full strength! Well, actually, we've done some spring cleaning, so long-time users will see that some content has been archived. But other than that, we're back!
The Boyz wanna thank everyone for their support, both moral and especially financial, in getting us through this national crisis. It's nice to see that people like the site enough to help out. We're all weepy and everything. We'd also like to thank Peak Web Hosting for giving us our new home. (Rent has gone up considerably, but it's worth it!)
  So...Thanks and have fun!
10/21: Invisibles #98 is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #97.

10/7: Invisibles #96: Oh, Cananda! is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #95.
10/4: Update: Looks like FilmWise is back to normal. Woo hoo! Sorry about the problems. I've gotta comb the site further, but everything appears to be fine now. (Hopefully?)
10/3: Update: The Invisibles scoring is working correctly now. However, the Forums are still down, as are all of the forms for the contests and for signing up to our email list. Hopefully we'll be back to full strength soon...
10/3: FilmWise isn't feeling too well at the moment. It seems that we've grown too big for our britches. Our traffic has been steadily increasing of late, and yesterday we had 2,000,000 hits (!) which, it turns out, our hosting service can't handle. This is a problem The Boyz never foresaw having when we launched the site 18 months ago for fun. Pretty cool problem to have, but it also kinda sucks. Anyway, we're in the process of switching our hosting plan, and we'll have the site back to normal as soon as possible. Sorry about the inconvenience, we know you've come to rely on your Invisibles.
9/30: Invisibles #95 is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #94.
9/27: Looks like we've started a trend, as the Radio Days are continuing here at FilmWise. People in the Chicago area can tune in to hear an interview with The Boyz on WGN Radio (720 on your AM dial) Sunday night at midnight (central time). Nick Digilio is our host and this time we'll have about half an hour of air time, and we'll even be fielding calls from listeners. So if you're around Chicago, give us a call. Or just listen and stuff.
9/23: Invisibles #94 is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #93: Behind the Mike.
9/17:
  The stars get into costume
for our latest contest:
Contest #14:
Trick or Treat!
Even celebrities stoop to begging for handouts on Hallow's Eve. Try to identify as many of the candy mongers as you can for your chance at a DVD of your choice.
9/17: The Boyz would like to congratulate Zachary Beckler for winning Contest #13: Barbie and Ken Go to the Movies. Out of the 1,600+ entries we received, 108 came in with perfect scores, and Zachary's name was drawn from the FilmWise hat. Congrats, Zachary! We've posted the entire list of scores for you to check out.
9/16: Invisibles #93: Behind the Mike is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #92.
9/12: Well, it looks like FilmWise has hit the big time! KROX (101FM) in Austin, Texas will be interviewing The Boyz live on their MorningX show this coming Friday. Okay, so it's not quite the Leno Show, but then again, who's interviewing you? NOBODY! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA Hoo!
If you're in the Austin area, tune in around 8:30am Central Time (that's 6:30am Nipples Time, yikes!) and check it out. Or, for non-Texans, try listening through www.krox.com if you can figure out how. (I couldn't, but I'm dumb.) We're told that KROX does not have a delay, so everything that flies out of StudBoy's potty mouth is gonna reach the ears of KROX's innocent listeners. Parents beware.
9/8: Invisibles #92 is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #91.
9/7: Contest #13: Barbie and Ken Go to the Movies is officially over. We gave you a few extra days, cuz we're nice and stuff. And cuz we're lazy and stuff. We received 1,628 entries for the contest and The Boyz are currently wading through the stack to find our winner, which we'll announce next week. Thanks to everyone who participated! Look for Contest #14 to be up around the middle of the month.
9/4: Better late than never, Invisibles #91 is up and active. We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #90: The Double Issue, for which we set a new record with almost 14,000 submissions!
9/3: An apologetic message from The Boyz: Due to an extended Aspen excursion - complete with sun, fun, volleyball, loose women and booze (minus the loose women...rats!) - Invisibles #91 will be delayed until Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. We hope you can forgive us.
8/26: We've got a special treat for you this week with Invisibles #90: The Double Issue! That's right, this week you get twice the Invisible pleasure! Why? Because the Boyz are stupid! Also cuz we want to reward all of you loyal FilmWise fans for your dedication and stuff. Please understand that this is a one-time only event, as we had to bust our butts to get this one done, and we're dang tired. So enjoy this week's Invisibles extravaganza!

We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #89.

8/19: Invisibles #89 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #88.
8/12: Invisibles #88 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #87: Chick Flicks.
8/5: The Boyz received an email from Scary Kitty Project who praised our site, but pointed out the over-abundance of testosterone-laden movies. We politely explained that The Boyz are a testosterone-laden, weapon-packing pair who tend to avoid the proverbial "chick flick." And since we are pretty much limited to using the movies we actually own, the images we use tend to stick to our tastes. However, in an effort to please SKP and our more effeminate fans, we promised SKP a "chick flicks" Invisibles quiz and we skipped (in a very manly way) over to Blockbuster.
Thus, Invisibles #87: Chick Flicks is now up and active. Enjoy, ladies! We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #86.
7/29: Invisibles #86 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #85. It appears that we've gone too easy on you FilmWisers of late, as way too many of you are getting perfect scores. Hopefully, we've made things a little tougher this week.
7/22: Invisibles #85 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #84: The Big Guns.
7/18:
The latest FilmWise contest is officially underway:
Barbie and Ken
Go to the Movies
As you will see, Justin Timberlake is filling in for Ken since *NSYNC dolls were dirt cheap at Toys R Us and Ken was surprisingly hard to come by. See how many movies you can name for your chance at a free DVD.
7/18: The Boyz would like to congratulate Jennifer O'Brien for winning Contest #12: Author! Author! Out of approximately 900 entries, we received 81 with perfect scores, and Jen's (do you mind if we call you Jen?) name was drawn from the FilmWise hat. Congrats, Jen! We've posted the entire list of scores for you to check out.
7/15: Invisibles #84: The Big Guns is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #83.
7/8: Invisibles #83 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #82.
7/3: Contest #12: Author! Author! is officially over, a couple of days later than planned (as is the way with The Boyz these days). We received almost 900 entries and we'll be sorting through them over the next several days. We'll post the winner and all of the results shortly.
We've got Contest #13 almost ready to go and it promises to be a real doozie. We're not sure what qualifies as an official doozie, but we've had our eye on this contest for a while, and it's got real potential. We'll post it July 19th, so stay tuned!
7/1: Invisibles #82 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #81: On Call.
6/24: Invisibles #81: On Call is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #80.
6/17: Invisibles #80 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #79.
6/10: Invisibles #79 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #78: Reading is Fundamental.
6/3: Invisibles #78: Reading is Fundamental is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #77.

5/20: Invisibles #76 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #75: Hoop Dreams.
5/19:
The new contest is here! The new contest is here! We're going to the source of the story in:
Author! Author!
Take a look-see and try for the grand prize, a free DVD of your choice (as always).
5/19 The Boyz would like to congratulate Ben Wszalek for winning Contest #11: Oscar Moments Redux! Out of 990 entries, we received 80 with perfect scores, and Ben's name was drawn from the legendary FilmWise hat. Congrats, Ben! We've posted the entire list of scores for you to peruse.
5/16: We've posted Chapter Two of StudBoy's "Attack of the Clones" experience, which contains the wanna-be Jedi's review of the flick. Check it out, and then post your own review in the FilmWise Forums.
5/14: StudBoy sees "Attack of the Clones"!
StudBoy, seen below in an artist's rendering, was lucky enough to receive an invitation to a press screening of "Star Wars: Episode II"!
(Nipples is not fortunate enough to live in a podunk city in Kansas where they have to beg people to come to press screenings, so he doesn't get invited to such events. He might be a little bitter.)

How was it? "Awesome!" It's not clear if he was referring to the actual movie or to the overall experience, since we're not allowed to release a review until Thursday, when the movie opens up to the public.
Check out Chapter One of his write-up of the event, and we'll post his review of the movie in Chapter Two on Thursday.
5/13: Invisibles #75: Hoop Dreams is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #74.
5/12: Happy Mother's Day!
The Boyz have oft been accused of being Mamas' Boyz. Well, we freely admit it and we're damn proud of it. So we've put up Mama Mia!, a tribute to our mommies and to mommies everywhere. We love you, moms! (And we give an extra nod to Mrs. StudBoy and Baby Bri, as this is their first Mother's Day ever. Congrats!!)
5/6: Invisibles #74 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #73. Looks like The Boyz were a bit tougher on you last week, as only seven people got perfect scores and only ten others were one off the mark. HA! We win! (For a change.)
4/29: Invisibles #73 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #72: Eye of the Tiger (Woods) and the answers and top scores for User-Created Invisibles #3.
4/22: FilmWise Goes Widescreen!
We've gotten several emails from you diehard movie fans asking us why our images don't follow the movie theater aspect ratio. And the only answer The Boyz could come up with was: "Because." But since we cater to the movie aficionado, we've made the leap! Starting with this week's tribute to Tiger Woods, Invisibles #72: Eye of the Tiger (Woods), all of our Invisibles (and maybe the regular visual puzzles) will come to you in anamorphic, (almost 16x9) widescreen format. Woo hoo! (Or big deal, depending on your point of view.) We've also posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #71.
4/22: In addition to our regularly-scheduled Invisibles quiz, we've posted User-Created Invisibles #3, the latest group of Invisibles created entirely by our FilmWise faithful. Thanks to everyone who submitted images!

3/25: Happy Birthday FilmWise!
FilmWise turns 1 year old today, and the Boyz couldn't be more proud! StudBoy got a little emotional, and he still looks like Halle Barry accepting an Oscar. (Except he's not quite as pretty.) Nipples was so excited he completely passed out. And we owe it all to you, our fans. Thanks for making this past year the crazy, fun-filled ride it's been. Hopefully there'll be many more years of FilmWise-ing to come.
3/25: Invisibles #68 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #67.
3/18: Invisibles #67 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #66: A Military Salute.

3/11: Invisibles #66: A Military Salute is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #65.
3/9: FilmWise's first-ever tournament has come to a close and we have a winner! The Boyz congratulate Mary Louise Smythe, who was the only contestant to get a perfect score through all three rounds of the tournament! She's definitely sick, as we had some images in there that nobody had a right getting correct! Mary Louise will pick up almost $200 for her efforts.
The Boyz would like to thank the 150+ tournament contestants, we hope you got your money's worth. And if you missed this tournament, never fear. The response was very positive, which pretty much ensures that we'll have another one down the road.

2/19: Okay, The Boyz are getting lazy these days, but the results for Contest #10: Movie Rebuses are finally in! Donna Dawe has been drawn out of a pool of over 500 perfect scores. (We apparently made this contest WAY too easy!) Congratulations, Donna!
We ended up giving everybody credit for the "Pi"/"American Pie" image, because it was just too dang vague. We received a ton of very creative answers, including such gems as "The Black Hole" and "The Object of My Affection."
Check out all of the answers and scores to see how you measured up.
2/19: The FilmWise Tournament is underway. If you are registered for the tournament (check for your name on this list), but haven't received the kickoff email, please email us and we'll take care of it.

We received 152 entries, so it should be a fun event. Thanks to everyone who's participating and good luck!
2/11: Invisibles #62 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #61.
2/3: Sorry to throw everybody off this week. We had to get the new Invisibles up a day early because one of the Boyz is taking a red-eye tonight and heading out of town for the week. That said, Invisibles #61 is now up and active, and we've posted the answers and top scores for Invisibles #60: Musical Numbers.
1/28: The Boyz are happy to announce the first-ever FilmWise Tournament! Match your movie wits against fellow FilmWisers for a chance at fortune and fame!

1/15: The results are finally in! Brian Mack has been drawn as the winner of FilmWise's Contest #9: Something's Missing. Congratulations, Brian! (nice name too!)
Things were apparently tougher this month, as only 22 entries came in with perfect scores (after removing all of the entries with duplicate email addresses) out of 1,618 entries. Brian's name was drawn out of the sacred FilmWise hat, so he will receive a DVD of his choice. Thanks to all who participated.
You can check out all of the answers and high scores, and be sure to enter Contest #10: Movie Rebuses.

Real Buzz
Okay, we admit that some of the comments in our Buzz section may be less than authentic, but here are some genuine quotes from some genuine sources:
"The visual quizzes are fun even when you have no idea which dog is from "Turner and Hootch" and which is from "K-9," or can't tell Donald Sutherland's naked rear end from Holly Hunter's. But our favorite challenge is the Invisibles quiz... It's addictive fun. We just wish they'd done some erasing on that backside quiz."
-- Best 100 Web Sites
Yahoo! Internet Life Magazine
"This clever site...will challenge anyone who claims to be a cinema master."
Rating: A
-- Entertainment Weekly
"At last! A hip, interactive film trivia site that doesn't feature questions like 'Robert Bresson's Pickpocket was based on which Dostoevsky novel?' ...How cool is that? As it turns out, very."
-- Yahoo!
"The creators of this clever movie site, launched on Oscar night, deserve an Oscar themselves for best special effects."
-- Roger Yim
SF Chronicle
"There are dozens of Web sites with movie trivia questions, mostly the same boring questions about Oscar winners and famous directors. Where can a fun-loving movie maven go for some creative big-screen quizzes? Try FilmWise.com."
-- MSNBC.com
"This very clever, two-man movie quiz site makes a lot of other online entertainment coverage look tired and unimaginitive by comparison... Not only are these contests wonderfully imagined, but they also shed new light on old film conventions."
-- MIN's New Media Report
"At FilmWise, film buffs can have fun in a whole new way... A very unique approach, and one that is sure to please film buffs."
-- InfoBeat
"There's an addictive quality to these little challenges. The first one is taken fairly casually. Then, when you check the answers and see how many you should have had right, there's an incentive to take another (and take it more attentively) in order to reassure yourself that you're not a complete cinematic idiot. And the cycle picks up from there - repeated failure encourages 'one more try,' while success invites additional reassuring confirmation."
