Can you guys help. You know in the end credits of The Great Escape there is a photo of the character with every name?
What other films use this? Been thinking for a while and it's oing my head in. Was gonna use it as my 'ntfito' but I've forgotten any that have it, and I know there are a few, and I know more films should use this technique (if it has a name)

Hangover is good, but I'm thinking more of the Princess Bride style. When they do a paused shot from the film with the name of person

sums up what I'm looking for perfectly

I think Animal House does something like that. Neidermier gets fragged by his troops, Buto becomes a senator. Stuff like that.

Okay it seems this type (descriptions of what happened to the characters later in life) is called the "Where Are They Now? Epilogue"

Yeah, not looking for that, it's simply the credits, so it shows a shot of the character, with the name of the actor, instead of just black screen, although I do enjoy the epilogue, even legally blonde made me chuckle with that

Coming to America has them. I remember them showing all the characters that Eddie and Arsenio played.

Grease might have what you're looking for. The beginning is animated, but the end is yearbook shots.
