So, no thoughts on how this will wrap up in the next two weeks?

I'm chosing not to indulge in theories any more; I get enough of that on Lost and Damages. Now I just wish to sit back and see how it unfolds.

I guess I'll do the same.

I'm not enjoying this "season" as much... I was upset I didn't have Sci-Fi in CA and have been keeping up with the episodes on iTunes, but only about half the time do I think the episode was worth the $2...

Here's hoping the last two are brilliant though

The end will be simple... I bet they learn the 13th colony was really the first and they all have to go back to the roots of it all on earth to begin with because EVERYONE is a cylon.. :(

My dvr died this afternoon. I ordered a new one which will be here early next week. I'm working tonight so that means I'm going to have to wait a week to watch the finale on-line.

In other electronic failure news, I'm without home internet service until next week when it gets installed. IT blocks me from downloading anything at work.

I'm not sure what it says that when I see "furious anger", I think of Ezekiel 25:17 second, only after I think of the line "Dame Judi Dench is FURIOUS with him" from the Something of Boris trailer ...

(I'd have linked to it or even used the youtube tag in here, but I couldn't find it on the youtubes.)

Well, there's a few minor questions unanswered, but that episode kicked major ass.

And now that It's over, well there are a few things still to look forward to, between the Caprica pilot on DVD next month, or the promo for The Plan which can be found here.

And if you don't know what The Plan is...

Quote:
An upcoming Battlestar Galactica spinoff movie The Plan, directed by and starring Edward James Olmos. Jane Espenson wrote the screenplay.

The Plan—which will likely come out on DVD and will also air this fall—recaps the story of the destruction of the human Colonies from the point of view of the Cylons.

The cast also includes Michael Trucco, Aaron Douglas, Dean Stockwell, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, Rick Worthy, Matthew Bennett, Callum Keith Rennie, Michael Hogan and Rekha Sharma.

I don't even quite know what to say.

The first half was totally awesome. Lots of action and ass-kicking and I found myself cheering along. Brilliant.

Then we got into the denoument, and I got overwhelmed with emotion. Cried like the little girl I am when Bill took Laura on the Raptor and said goodbye to Lee and Starbuck. Damn that was sad.

I had predicted they would find our Earth, but 150,000 years ago? Ok, I can go with that. Didn't entirely buy the "Baltar kind of redeeming himself" though.

Also, I still don't get the Starbuck thing.

Finally, the last two minutes was some of the most ham-fisted preachy schlock I've ever seen. Could gladly have done without that.

I think I need to digest this for a while, and possibly watch it again.

:green: nor do I understand the Gaius discussions with the imaginary/angel Caprica or how the hell they let him survive past the mini series.

Additionally, I don't completely understand the whole creation cycle.

Initially we were to believe that: (1) humans made Centurions and (2) Centurions made skin jobs. (Right?)

But apparently humans made Centurions who made the "Final Five" skinjobs who made the rest of the skinjobs? (?) And this extends to some eons-old cycle?

I think they were originally humans, but once they started resurrecting themselves, they became Cylons (or something).

Also, the remains that were found in Tanzania were of a 'young woman'. I guess Hera didn't get to live long and happy ever after.

So in other words, the writers didn't know how to explain Kara's story so they just let her disappear. That's the worst and lamest explanation/cop out I've heard of. The explanation for the imaginative Six and Gaius wasn't any better.
