Taking the series out of Lucas' hands? I like it and am excited to see where the series goes.

They can digitally replace Jar Jar with Goofy now. It would be as it was always intended.

I'm waiting for Indiana Jones and the Seven Dwarfs.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

Matthew Vaughn to direct new Star Wars film?

From the article:

Actor Jason Flemyng, who’s worked with Vaughn on movies ranging from 1998′s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels to 2011′s X-Men: First Class, was asked in a red-carpet interview with HeyUGuys whether he had talked to the director about a role in the new trilogy. His response was initially joking, beginning with a hybrid C-3PO/R2-D2 imitation before he admitted, “Me and Matt have done nine films together, so I’m sure I’ll get the call for Star Wars.”
Come play with us, Danny. Forever and ever and ever.
