He really was one of a kind. I have to go back and watch some of his earlier stuff--my FB feed today was stuffed with people discussing movies I never heard of/knew he was in. And I've never watched Maidstone, though the story of him hitting Norman Mailer over the head with the hammer is legendary.

Been re-watching 30Rock over the past two weeks. A lot of good stuff in his career.
