Yeah, he kinda wanders around like a butt munch after you select him. I used to have the same problem when getting that 6-second in/out job for Moog. Now, I just think of baseball.

I don't know about the rest of you, but it took me forever to figure out why my campfire wasn't upgrading. Depending on the level, the nightmares you have to collect are very specific. For example, for level 2 they need to be snakes, so you need Lisa to tell the stories to generate them. Level 3 appears to be rabbits so you'll need Milhouse to tell the tales.
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

Yeah ... and then they start over.

The "disco zombies" moonwalking backwards is a nice touch.

Christmas update! Personally I hope it's less like the Halloween update where you have to 'update' something every four hours and collect items... that was awful.

I think it's just like that. Lots of things to get, but lots of time spent logging back in. I think I may stop sending people to the marketing agency for a while as I've got enough land in West Springfield and I've built plenty of those new tiles for the fancy pier. The only reason I'm still working on the recycling stuff is to get the free donuts with the final group of five monorail sections each week.

That sounds familiar. I have these big plans to surround my Springfield entirely in monorail (kinda like Disneyland), but never get around to it.

Worst part of Halloween was the make-it-yourself prizes kinda sucked ass. How many sets of evil trees does one need?

Mazer blew up her Springfield entirely and started from scratch a few months ago. Thinking of doing that after Christmas.

That, and the 'prizes' for upgrading the campfire. I don't need 25 tents, thanks.

The Christmas update seems better so far, though. Better rewards, and less demanding of collecting items to make rewards/upgrades.

And by the way, Santa Little Helper now has tasks, but there's no animation for any of them. He just goes inside the house for all of them, but still, easy money.

I didn't notice that. I just throw the remainder of people that I'm not using on 24-hour tasks via the unemployment office. I noticed that the Abominable Snowman was doing jobs the other day. I've stored a lot of the other characters that previously didn't have jobs. I'll have to pull King Snorky out and see if he's got something productive to do. Not that I'm really bothered about the money, mind you. As I was sitting at around $160 million, I was able to purchase the entire last land upgrade in one go. I think it cost around $22 million. Too bad I can't do the same thing for West Springfield.

This Vegas update is pretty fun so far, and the rewards looks great. I can't wait to see the other acts' prizes!

The only annoying thing about it is buying new land for space. Not cheap at all.

Yeah, it cost about 14.6 million to buy that new strip. I was sitting on a pile of around $200 million. Now I'm down to around $186 million.

I'm really liking all the ways you can get donuts. If you recycle all your garbage, you not only get your 16 pieces of monorail track, but also 5 bonus donuts each week. Plus, there's the new Big Box store daily tasks that you can usually get a donut a day, plus a bonus over a period of time. I'm currently on the 10 free donuts after 15 days task. Also, there's the three free donuts you can get for finding Maggie every 48 hours (16 hours x 3). Plus there's the occasional three free donuts for surpassing the experience points. I just wish I could trade in some of the "premium" prizes I've won previously for donuts.

I'm just about finished with the West Side, so I now need to start designing a strip for all the casinos we'll eventually see.

My Springfield is such a mess these days, I have trouble finding Maggie -- it's easier once I discovered a little trick: Try with the sound on. Mine's usually on mute for obvious reason. And there's no way I can look for Maggie more than once a day. :P

Yeah, it took me 4 or 5 days to figure out the routine. She'll really only be deposited on the oldest buildings. Most of mine are located around the Simpson house, so it works out OK. If I can't hear her there, then she's either at the school, at Cletus's farm or one of my Lard Lad shops. I can generally find her with 55+ seconds left. The biggest problem is accidentally putting her into 24-hour task with everyone else; I can't store the Simpson house to end abort her task.

Just another way of gambling and winning chips. I haven't done enough research to determine which method is more advantageous.

I see that ... Now. For half a day after acquired, the thing just sat there, no dice above, just another piece of scenery.

Apparently this latest level is the last one. I hope it doesn't mean there won't be any new updates. I need more land.

Congrats on making the Sgt. Skinner threshold, CC. Periodically, I'd see your count over the weekend, saying to myself, "he's not gonna make it."

It was tight. I have to pay more attention to the 4-hour cycle. Previous levels were much easier to make. Did you get it?

Wow. That was a shitload of new land and water. I was wondering how much it would all cost. Not counting the stuff in West Springfield, it worked out to just under $50 million. I've still got $400+ million left.
