The two obvious ones that have to be on there are two songs I must have heard at least 300 times each. Barbie Girl, and Mmm Bop.
:green: I'll only count the second one, since the first is mentioned below.

Weirdly enough, I was alive during the 90s. And I don't recall ever hearing this song. Everything else I heard at least 100 times, except for MMM Bop, which somehow I largely avoided.

How about Right Said Fred with I'm Too Sexy. I actually can claim I saw that one live. I don't claim it often though.

It's actually from 1949: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mambo_No._5

The remake was late 90's, but did not make the list. Sorry.

I was just playing Black Ops with a buddy last night. Every time he gets the attack dogs killstreak he sings that infernal song. how old is "who let the dogs out?" that's gotta be 90's, right?

I'll say it, JJ: Mr. Jones by Counting Crows.

can't say I really disagree with the readers picks here. I'd add Mambo #5, as Batman had guessed, even if it was a remake. I hated that song, but every girl I know loved it for some reason.

I still say (as said in the earlier spoiler): every song on that list is better than pretty much any song in the UK charts right now.
