Ultimate Wolverines/Warriors draft....

#1 Post by Dawson » 11 Apr 2011, 09:19

Loved the rock band draft, and loved the movie one that never ended in the film part.. so got me thinking. If the warriors met this particular gang, would they get a good old fashioned kicking? Or if this gang were instead of Wolverines would Red Dawn be any different? Can you find a truly expendable group?

So.. rules... each person who wants to enter needs:

1 leader
1 strong man
1 funny guy
2 others
1 gal from the wrong side of the streets.

NO SUPERHEROES - Sorry batman, scruluce... just peeps for this
You can pick TV and Movie characters
Just because someone picks Han Solo, doesn't mean you can't pick Indiana (same actor, different character is fine)

Same as usual, one pick a time, everyopne gets a go each, until the gang is formed.

We could do a seperate tv and film one.. and we could do one where we add the more supernatural characters from tv if it all goes well?

Don't know, just thinking out loud, but if anyone is interested we can give it a go and I can tweak the rules

I'm in.

You do realize that Batman isn't a superhero, right?
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

What is the definition of a superhero (in the context of this game?)

If tv and movies are both in play would both A-Teams be available?
The :) means it's all ok.

sure, why the hell not. Looks like this one will have some serious grey areas, though.
It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. and we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

Wouldn't have anything to do with me if it didn't have any grey areas. Was off yesterday, thinking about this.. so a fulll ist of rules will be on this evening to clear up most problematic areas

OK, here be the rules:

1 leader
1 strong man 'The Heavy'
1 funny guy - 'The Joker'
2 others - Your choice
1 gal from the wrong side of the streets.

NO SUPERHEROES - Sorry batman, scruluce... just peeps for this, We are trying to pick a gang, to make it simpler, no costumed crime fighters. (No kick ass either, sorry but lets try to keep it as non confusing as possible) Also you can't pick Luke Skywalker, as he uses the force, but you could pick Han (We'll deal with these as they happen I guess)
You can pick TV and Movie characters - But you cannot pick the same character. EG: Can't both have hannibal, one from the a-team film, one from the tv series.
No supernatural characters either - You can't have Buffy, or the Winchesters... its a gang, real people only
Just because someone picks Han Solo, doesn't mean you can't pick Indiana (same actor, different character is fine)

What we COULD do, is only pick gang/group members. You have everything from Young Guns to Red Dawn, there are loads, that might help... and it may make more sense. But policing this could be a toughie.

Same as usual, one pick a time, everyone gets a go each, until the gang is formed.

This is even confusing me now. Maybe we'll call it the grey draft. Just pretend you are picking a new gang in The Warriors or something, and we'll see how we go. If it's a major fail, then what have we all really lost?

Here are the people so far, and the order they will pick in:

Sldawgs
Batman
Bratzk
Fat Head
Middle
Scruluce
A2
dawson99
JJ
Steel Frog
Sela
Phillip
Knarf
