Has no one been discussing this show? Really?

I watched season 1 in a one-day marathon and feel in love. Just watched last night's season premiere and can't wait for next week's show.

AMC does it again

I watched 3 episodes and concluded that it wasn't even worth my time if I was getting paid to watch it at work. It seems quite popular so I'm wondering if I should have stuck with it.

I watched the whole first season after reading the books (which 14th just came out here) and I was glad to see that they spent some money on that show. And that the script was slightly different.
I always wondered what was the interest of watching Sin City since it was the exact replica of the comic. Well except for boobies...

you've seen half the first season!

fwiw, I'm a big fan, and since the show is about the undead, I can't really kill it, can I? 8)

No... if it got canceled that would have been square on AMC for getting rid of Darabont and reducing their budget and for generally being Dickwads.

I agree that was a shit decision, as the first season was fantastic! Season 2 doing pretty well though.

That's what I am saying... but there is hope... Robert Kirkman is still very involved... and even Steven Spielberg directs an episode this season. So it's good that it had a lot of good going for it even without Frank... but I think he will be missed in the long run.

I should have seen it coming but didn't
Spoiler for I honestly thought
that perhaps PTV would sacrifice himself to "do right for that boy"

Yeah, it was pretty obvious. Still, I like that the show is somewhat different than the comic book. It keeps your interest, not knowing what's about to happen.

Having not read the comic book, it's all new to me.

Is it just me, or is this series massively dull? Nothing ever happens, no forward momentum, no interesting characters. I give it one more episode before I give up altogether.

Other than Otis and Shane's trip to the school, they've definitely stalled over the last few episodes. I've got the point where I don't care if they find Sophia alive, dead, or anywhere in-between, just find her already.
